WCW: Writer & producer Dana Calvo

Woman crushes, we all have them. To inspire you, we use our Wednesdays to interview women we admire and share their amazing stories with you. This week (and always!) we're crushing on Dana Calvo, a tv writer & producer, who brought us one of our favorite shows; Good Girls Revolt.

Dana took the time to sit down with us for a long interview in Los Angeles. She told us how she made the transition from being a newspaper reporter to a tv writer, being introduced into that world by working with Aaron Sorkin. Ever since, she's written on many shows, like Covert Affairs, as a head writer on Netflix hit series Narcos, and she created her own show for Amazon, Good Girls Revolt. 

During our conversation she touched on various subjects, from advice on self care to how to run an efficient writers room and from what inspires her while writing to loving the collaborative nature of making television.
