What does it take to be a documentary filmmaker in one of the busiest cities in the world? According to director Tara Kutz, a lot of hard work and long nights. When she's not busy with her day job at C41 Media, Tara is working on her new film, Our State Fair. 

She sat down with us to talk about the challenges of being a first time director, following creative instincts, and the importance of having a female community to rely on.
